Bay of Apostles opened on the Great Ocean Road in Apollo Bay in December 2007 and is well known for its broad range of inspiring, innovative and quirky home wares and gifts, beautiful handmade accessories and jewellery, funky courtyard accessories, authentic vintage items, and stylish textiles.

The shop, which still retains the authentic beamed ceiling and original polished floorboards, operates from one of the few remaining original shop fronts in town.

our philosophy

The emphasis is on stocking local, regional and Australian produced goods and global products of the highest quality.

We specialise in local produce such as jewellery and soap by Otway Creations; amazing garden sculptures by Colin Coleman; jewellery by Betsy Blonde; turned woodwork by Ian Varcoe (including our famed ‘extreme knitting needles’); paintings by Pete Goodlet Art; textiles by Knitting By The Ocean and coastal unisex jackets by White Tag.

We pride ourselves in stocking Australian made and ethical merchandise such as prints, cards and postcards; spa goodies from a range of local and interstate producers; baby products by El8te; handmade teddy bears and koalas from Victoria; handmade glass birds from Tasmania; a range of textiles by Anna Murphy Melbourne; Aussie made, eco friendly and functional products; locally grown and produced yarn; hand spun and hand dyed yarn by My Spin On Things; sustainably harvested shells as well as our popular God Jocks from New Zealand and Fair Trade products via Community Projects Worldwide.

We also run knitting workshops including our ever popular arm knitting and extreme knitting sessions.
